Everyone I meet always asks why I do what I do. It all started from the first book I chose, from the book club, at five years old. It was a story about a wedding and it came with a veil headband. I remember looking at the end page over and over and envisioning what my own wedding would be like while wearing it. From there, I realised it was what I wanted to do. I started making clothes for my teddy’s, including little handbags and shoes.
My Great Grandmother was a seamstress and her daughter, my Nana, was the one who bought my sewing machine for me.
I love my daughter being involved and she’s often by my side during fittings and consultations. She likes to call my brides ‘princesses’ and pass me pins when i’m fitting dresses.
I truly eat, live and breath what I do. My sewing room is in my home and I want everyone who comes for a consultation to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
